Instructor Comments:  This is the most versatile body armor offered for Sport Swordtm combat.  This suit is the cream of the crop with integrated pads, articulated spine (for FULL range of movement), adjustable elastic kidney belt and removable chest plates and spine.  This suit is almost exactly the same as the red Platinum armor with the exception that there are no thumb holes and there is slightly less protection in the front. Note that we do carry this in Youth Sizes but that the spinal column is shorter (obviously) to accommodate the smaller frame.  This is the all-on-one answer to torso/elbow/forearm/shoulder armor.  We should mention that we found the Premium Armor to provide more impact protection because of the raised zone that provides a pocket of protection.  However, if you are looking for more articulated movement and lower profile but still managing a high level of protection, than this is the suit for you.

 

NOTE:  This armor has not been tested with wasters or metal weapons and as such, is not intended for sword play with any weapon other than our Sport Sword or Action Flex line. If you use this armor with any other training weapons, you do so at your own risk. (Hate to say it like that, but you know how it is with liability...)
