The Combatant head protector offers an excellent design utilizing unique safety features throughout the head area. Eyes, ears and mouth are fully protected. The combatant can breathe freely without constriction or poor visibility. These helmets are made from tough, shock resistant vinyl and nylon without any foam dipped parts. Instructor Comments: We've had great success with these helmets. They are far more durable than the foam-dipped sparring gear and the Velcro coverage is easily twice the surface area for a more secure fit. My only issue was with the strapping that adheres the top of the helmet to the sides... the holes are not grometted. The first one I owned even had tiny bits of stuffing showing by the lace holes. However, I have used this helmet for 2 years now and the stuffing has not leaked out. So it doesn't seem to be an issue. The only other thing to consider is that the ML is a little on the small size. I have a 21.5" crown and the ML is a bit snug. So if you are in doubt, order the XL. |
