As noted in the title the zipper is in the back and has the added benefit of being usable by either a right or left handed person. These are the jackets we have available for use at Guard Up for beginners. They are quite durable and also inexpensive. The only downside is they are difficult to get in and out of by yourself (anyone who has worn a dress with a back pull zipper can attest to this!). The next model up with the front zip would be a nice upgrade for fencers who practice more than once a week.
