Nylon bushing stock is assembled in a piston style process without glue or adhesives using a unique double-pinning process. Line Item Nylon bushing stock strength tests is carried out in a standard laboratory atmosphere. Tensile strength is at 11,600 psi. Flexural strength is at 15,700 psi. Impact strength is 2.5 ft-lb./in. The mechanical properties of this high efficiency resilient bushing stock significantly reduce vibration and breakage and provide superior flexing abilities. Average OD and ID tolerance for nylon bushing stock are 0.40mm over and 0.40mm under. Nylon bushing stock is approved for food and drug applications. Polyethylene is thick closed cell polyethylene foam cylinder and strips. Mechanical properties are soft yet provide superior flexing capabilities, which significantly reduce, impact injury, vibration and breakage.
